Hakuba Onsen Ryokan SHIROUMA-SO
About Us
Located at the foot of Hakuba Happo One, in the heart of the former Hosono village, the birthplace of the Japanese guest house, Shirouma-so is a modern Japanese-style inn that originated as a ski guest house with a unique and beautiful design that combines traditional Japanese architecture using old materials with a modern Japanese style.
It is a small home-like hot spring inn of warmth and comfort where you can refresh yourself by surrendering to the great outdoors with guest rooms with wide windows overlooking the Northern Alps, retaining the pillars and beams of the Edo period and the old farmhouse with about 300 years of history in the entrance space.
The inn is well known by many people as a base for skiing, snowboarding, and outdoor activities during the green season, as well as a good starting point for sightseeing in Shinshu and Azumino.
